Tara Mann

Tara is a fiction writer from Monterey, California who enjoys knitting, playing piano, tap dancing, and performing live theatre and aerial arts in her spare time. She writes to explore topics and worlds she is passionate about. She hopes that her novels will motivate young children to read and write just as her favorite authors did for her.
 
She currently lives in Monterey, California as an Interpretive Programs Naturalist at the Monterey Bay Aquarium while she queries agents for her fantasy novels. She earned a BFA in Creative Writing from Chapman University with a minor in Computer Science. In the summer of 2022, she attended the Columbia Publishing Course in New York.
